Hello,
I’ve just bought a new motherboard for my computer. I moved all the components from the old broken MB to the new one.
I turned the computer on to see if I can still boot from the old Windows even if I changed the MB. It booted, the Windows started, but after 5-10 minutes it gave me a blue screen and restarted. I thought then that I have to do a fresh Windows installation. I booted from a USB flash drive and began the installation. During the installation, I experienced another blue screen. I tried another USB drive, I even tried with another Windows version, but it would still give me a blue screen at some point.
At this point, I tried to find a solution on the internet. Many people said this could be a RAM problem, but after some tests, I am 100% sure my RAM is good. I just couldn’t find out a solution to install Windows at that time and I left the PC for a few days.
After few days passed, I decided to try again. But this time, the behaviour is different. I try to boot from the USB drive, and nothing happens . It keeps rebooting forever. I can enter BIOS or the Boot Menu, but when I try to boot either from the HDD or the USB drive, it keeps rebooting after the MB logo appears.
I mention that I have an SSD and 2 HDDs. It has the same behavior even with one SATA drive connected at a time. No drive is broken, because each one works in other systems. I tried to clear the CMOS, but the problem persists.
What is interesting is that if I take out all 3 SATA drives, it boots from the USB drive, and begins the Windows installation. But obviously this is useless, because I don’t have a drive to install it to.
I just don’t know what to do at this point. Is it possible that the MB broke already?
Please look at these screenshots and tell me if its safe to go ahead with this because truth be told, please help me out, i did a lot of research about it on internet but couldn't find the proper answer so please help me out ?
Please help.
Thanks,
I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
